Below is the 1959 photo of Lorraine's Coffee Shop. Well known for many years it closed sometime after this photo was taken.
Edward Kincaide,, died Thursday, May 1, 1996. he was 100 years old. He left the military in 1924 and managed the coffee shop for 37 years until 1961.
He was employed by the Lorraine Tea & Coffee Shop, as a manager for 37 years until his retirement.

It is subtitled." Portrait of Fredrick Lorraine, tea and coffee man".
Photo was taken In 1912. he was pushing a carriage over the New Bedford, Fairhaven Bridge.
