In 1918 Henry Wainer, one of the of the brothers is listed as a salesman at a store on 2 S. Water Street.
In 1919 he is listed as living at 344 Purchase St. and his brother and partner David lived at 115 Maxfield St.
In 1921 the store is listed at 11 S. Water St. (intersection with Union.St.).
If you notice in the photo there are two buildings that serve as the single store.
This is where the YMCA is now.
The family is still in the business as of 2011 as "Sid Wainer & Son".
