1911 John Sims NewsBoy - New Bedford
John Sims standing in the middle of Purchase street with no shoes and short pants.
In the top photograph, the store behind him at number 32 on the left in picture was Devoll's shoe store and the store behind him in the right of the picture was Henry Howland's Jewelry Store.
The picture was taken on August 22, 1911.
The issue addressed here again is child labor in factories and on the street as vendors etc.
This boy is 7 years old.
